Hello all, first time posting on here, but have been using Tainacan for about 8 months. Quick back story first. I’m trying to incorporate my media collection into my wordpress site and thought it showed a great way of keeping track of my audiobook, book, tv and movie collection and being able to pull collections and items into blog posts. This part is working well, but I still have some way to go. But my question is, I would like to pull information into posts, say " completed books read in the last 3 months" and it just shows that. I can’t find a way of doing this. I have an item list with date completed, but I can’t find a way to show a set range that moves for when a viewer sees that post.
Any help would be great.
Thanks Lee.

Hello, and welcome to the Tainacan group!

One possible solution would be to use the **Tainacan Collection’s Items Carousel** block in the post and page editor.

For this to work, the book collection would need a metadata field indicating when each book was read, such as **Date Read** or **Year Read**.

Then, within the post, you could add the Tainacan block and configure a search using that metadata as a filter. For example, in a post about books read in 2026, the block could be configured to display only items whose “Year Read” value is 2026.

This way, the books would appear as a carousel within the post’s text. Because the block uses dynamic search criteria, if another book is later assigned the same year or reading period, it can automatically appear in the post without needing to be selected individually.
