Good afternoon! I have the above error on all of my WordPress sites with Tainacan. I have tried clearing my browser cache, using different browsers, using different devices, etc.
I see this is a common issue but one of the resolved cases seem to work for me. I do not have a cache plugin to clear cache. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Tainacan and that has not worked, either. It is effecting each page where Tainacan is located. What are my next steps?
Thank you,
Katelyn
Hi @KatelynKearns, welcome to our community!
Yeah caching is always a challenge. I can confirm this i the cause because for me, as the first time opening those links, they are all working well. From your side, there must be some layer remaining storing old assets. Are you sure your hosting service don’t have its own cache strategy, like a Cloudflare?
I am sure there is no cache plugin-at least, not one I can see from WordPress’s plugin page.
Yeah caching can happen usually under three levels: 1. Your Browser; 2. At the server’s application (plugins); 3. In your hosting layer or before it via CDN providers; That third one is where things like Cloudflare or Hostinger’s cache feature happen. Can you check with your hosting provider? Because again from my side I can see it working:
I’m glad it’s working for others at least. I’ve tried from a couple of different devices as well as different browsers so I’m not sure what’s going on on my end but I can check with WordPress and see if they can figure out what’s happening.
