Novidades

Modo de Visualização Mosaico

Inspirado fortemente nas galerias de imagens do Flickr e do Google Imagens, este modo distribui os itens ocupando a altura máxima em uma faixa, porém alternando a altura das linhas para garantir que todos caibam distribuídos da forma mais uniforme possível. É uma excelente opção para se dar destaque para imagens que em sua maioria tenham orientação paisagem.

Filtros de Intersecção

Usando metadados numéricos ou de data, agora você pode criar Filtros de Intersecção, que procurem o valor entre dois metadados como costuma ser esperado em cenários de intervalos com “início e fim”.

Filtros horizontais

Famosamente, a busca facetada do Tainacan é conhecida por mostrar uma barra lateral com filtros. Este layout é o mais apropriado para quando se tem vários filtros, em particular quando estes são do tipo lista de checkboxes. Mas não é o único layout que pode ser desejado uma busca! E que tal mostrarmos os filtros acima da lista de itens, dispostos horizontalmente?

Mais opções para os filtros!

  • Exibir a descrição do filtro em tooltip ou abaixo do rótulo;
  • Opção para alterar placeholder do filtro;
  • Opção para desativar os collapses dos filtros;
  • Opção para não ocultar filtros em painel no mobile automaticamente;

Melhorias

Não bastando todos estes recursos novos, temos algumas pequenas melhorias chegando:

  • Exibição das facetas em checkboxes alinhadas à direita e limite de linhas para 2, mantendo uma exibição menos desalinhada;
  • Exibição de um aviso em modal quando detectada a falta de configuração de links permanentes;
  • Uso de requisições REST com PATCH ao invés de PUT para aumentar a compatibilidade com servidores de diferentes configurações;
  • O plugin de integração do tema Blocksy com o Tainacan também ganhou opções para se definir uma borda abaixo dos rótulos dos filtros e de se esconder o rótulo “Filtros” do painel de filtros.

Correção de erros

  • Ajuste do timeout para que tooltips sejam escondidos em diversas áreas do admin;
  • Corrige problema que atrapalhava o carregamento de mapas na página do item;
  • Permite que o parâmetro perpage da URL sobrescreva as preferências do usuário na lista de itens;

What’s new

Mosaic View

Strongly inspired by the image galleries on Flickr and Google Images, this mode distributes the items occupying the maximum height in a strip, but alternating the height of the lines to ensure that they all fit together as evenly as possible. It’s an excellent option for highlighting images that are mostly landscape-oriented.

Intersection Filters

Using numeric or date metadata, you can now create Intersection Filters, which look for the value between two metadata as is usually expected in “start and end” interval scenarios.

Horizontal filters

Famously, Tainacan’s faceted search is known for showing a sidebar with filters. This layout is the most appropriate when you have several filters, particularly when they are of the checkbox list type. But it’s not the only layout that can be desired for a search! How about showing the filters above the list of items, arranged horizontally?

More options for filters!

  • Display the filter description in a tooltip or below the label;
  • Option to change the placeholder of the filter;
  • Option to disable filter collapses;
  • Option to not hide filters in panel on mobile automatically;

Improvements

As well as all these new features, we have some small improvements coming:

  • Display of facets in right-aligned checkboxes and limit of rows to 2, keeping a less misaligned display;
  • Display of a warning in modal when the lack of configuration of permalinks is detected;
  • Use of REST requests with PATCH instead of PUT to increase compatibility with servers of different configurations;
  • The plugin for integrating the Blocksy theme with Tainacan has also gained options for defining a border below the filter labels and for hiding the “Filters” label from the filter panel.

Bug fixes

  • Adjustment of the timeout so that tooltips are hidden in various areas of the admin;
  • Fixes problem that hindered the loading of maps on the item page;
  • Allows the perpage URL parameter to overwrite user preferences in the item list;
