This is a setting at the metadata level. When you edit the metadada (Description in this case), you have on the second column something like below (mine is in Portuguese, but the translation would be something like Show on item list).
The last option says: Never display/Never show (again, not sure about the translation used).
I was able to remove the metadata from the item list page by setting that option on the metadata.

As you showed me the image of “Display in the list,” I just went to the Metadata page but there is NO function - “Display in the list.” I think your version and my version looks different.

Please see the attached two screenshots below. I went to two pages - My Items & All Items, and I tried to turn OFF “description” and clicked “Apply change.” However, both does not work, and two "Description"s are still ON even though I turned off many times. It has technological problem obviously.
Please help me again.

I think I understand now what is happening.
First, it seems that you are accessing the Items Page. The “Metadata” editing page will be in “Collections list → Your Collection name → Metadata”. Then you select the “Description” metadata and edit it. There you’ll find the option that @marvila mentioned.
However the lists that you are accessing are not collection-level listings, they are repository-level ones. In that case, “Title” and “Description” visibility is defined globally, since they are not read as a per-collection metadata, but as the generic Core Title and Core Description fields that every item has. For hiding that initial state, you would need a separate option, plugin level. In the last releases we’ve been adding options to allow tweaking this type of settings (such as the default order, orderby, enabled view modes, etc).
I think it is worth opening an issue to take a look at it.

Please see the screenshot copy here, and I edited the “Description” metadata to set up “Display on listing.” However, it still does not work. Also, please see the second screenshot copy to depict "Fields for textual search" - the“Title” and “Description” visibility is defined globally. I tried to turn on and off to hide the “description,” but it does not work. So I think the plugin level has a technological problem. I am using the latest versions of both Wordpress (7.0) and Tainacan (1.2.0). Please help to solve this issue.
Ok but where is it still appearing? If you access that “Ass” Collection items page, does it still appears? Because the lists that you shared before were repository-level items lists.
That feature only defines textual search behavior (where to the text-input search goes looks for), not what appears in the list. For what you are in need, we’ll need to add an extra option there.
Yes, the "description is still appearing in only Search page for whole breeds, but the it successfully does not appear in the Ass collection list as well as other breed collection lists. It seems that repository-level list has a technological problem, not collection-level list. Is it resolvable?
It is really the expected behavior since those settings apply only to collection level. As I said we need to create extra options to allow customizing the repository-level lists. I’ve opened an issue for that:
