Chegou o tão aguardado dia! 
Após quase 12 anos de pesquisa e ao menos 8 de desenvolvimento, estamos finalmente lançando a versão 1.0 do Tainacan. O plugin hoje tem quase 2.000 instalações ativas e mais de 50.000 downloads, sendo a ferramenta adotada por diversas instituições públicas e privadas para difusão dos seus acervos digitais no Brasil e mundo afora.
Estamos muito orgulhosos de termos chegado até aqui e temos muitos planos pro futuro. Ficamos também muito gratos pelo envolvimento, paciência e apoio de todos os membros dessa comunidade que tanto colaboram para o amadurecimento do projeto. Seguimos com muitos desafios mas com confiança de que aos poucos conseguiremos atender às principais demandas da comunidade e seguir transformando o cenário da Cultura Digital.

Hello, Tainacan community !
The long-awaited day has arrived!
After almost 12 years of research and at least 8 years of development, we are finally launching Tainacan version 1.0. The plugin now has almost 2,000 active installations and over 50,000 downloads, and has been adopted by several public and private institutions for the dissemination of their digital collections in Brazil and around the world.
We are very proud to have come this far and have many plans for the future. We are also very grateful for the involvement, patience, and support of all the members of this community who contribute so much to the maturation of the project. We still face many challenges, but are confident that, little by little, we will be able to meet the main demands of the community and continue to transform the landscape of Digital Culture.
