No thumbnail of items; slow thumbnail of new collections; and no "Slides" option on Collection Page

For the collections which I created after the last Tainacan update, the thumbnail images of items are not appearing in the Collection Page. Also, the option “Slides” is missing for this newly created collection. These problems are not found for the collections created before the last Tainacan update.

Taking the cue from similar problems reported in this discourse group, I tried to clear the browser cache (Ctrl + F5) several times. But this did not give any result.

On the theme page where I am putting several Tainacan collections, the thumbnail of the new collection created after the last Tainacan update takes very long time to appear. The thumbnails of the old collections are appearing together without such delay.

Humm, have you checked if you have the settings (“Disable item thumbnails”) enabled in your collection settings page?

Also in the collection settings page, you should see an option where you enable the available view modes. Take a look there and tell us if this solves it.

This is likely related to the overall slow loading of images that you mentioned on the other topic. The previous images shall appear quicker because they should be stored on cache, either on the browser or server level.

Thank you @mateus.m.luna . I have got back my thumbnails following your suggestions (I didn’t notice some of the features in the new version of Tainacan)
