Is there an option to bulk edit (change) a value for selected metadata? Let’s say I have a metadata value as text, and I have to change one word from that sentence (but, unfortunately, it is not the same sencence).
Something like this:
I have value “yr. 1901”, “yr. 1902”, “yr. 1903” …etc but want to change to “year 1901”, “year 1902”, “year 1903”.

Unfortunately not. We’ve discussed adding some “search and replace” features before, but it always felt that we would be missing things that people would expect and in terms of performance it probably wouldn’t be great considering our database structure and the need for a background process.
For tasks like this, the recommended flow is to export your collection to CSV, manipulate it in tools like spreadsheet editors or OpenRefine and then re-import the data sending only the columns of the metadata changed and the special_item_id, which will allow your items to be updated instead of created again.
