Hello, I’ve been trying to work with Tainacan, and after reviewing the messages from this portal, it’s still not clear to me whether OAI-PMH has already been implemented in the plugin.
I work in an archive in Barcelona, and we need a program that is compatible with OAI-PMH, and therefore follows the Dublin Core schema. We would therefore need to know if this update has already been made in Tainacan, and how it is applied.

A short answer would be “Dublin Core” yes, “OAI-PMH” sadly not yet.
Tainacan won’t impose any metadata standard, but when creating a collection you can either start with Dublin Core or map any metadata set that you create to Dublin Core. This way you’ll have dc: meta tags in the pages html and exposers will be able to see the mapped version when downloading via REST API in formats like JSON, CSV and pure HTML.
As for OAI-PMH, although I’ve fixed small issues that I found recently in our /oai endpoint, I cannot say we oficially support it. There are multiple levels of details about the OAI-PMH protocol that we don’t understand and we don’t have developers dedicated to making this feature evolve nowadays. We still are open to anyone who is willing to contribute and who understands of its technicalities to put the hands on code, but it has been lower priority compared to other demands that we’ve been tackling from our community.
Still it is always great to hear from users who expect this feature, this helps us put in higher levels of priority for the future!
Dear colleague, Tainacan was already prepared for OAI-PMH since its first release. However, there are limitations. Check if OAI-PMH is enabled in the settings and if the repository information is filled out correctly. I hope this helps. Best regards.

Desde la Factoría Heliográfica tenemos algunas dudas sobre el funcionamento de Tainacan para poder implementarlo de maera eficaz en nuestro repositorio,
Entiendo que tu eres un responsable del Software, tengo algunas dudas concretas, crees que hay algun otro método de comunicación más eficaz que podriamos emplear? Sería posible hablar por correo electronico? Llevamos muchos meses intentando descifrar el programario y la verdad es que no lo conseguimos, seria de gran ayuda si pudiesemos intercambiar unos mails.
